How Can I Help?
Support for Parents
Are you struggling with your child? Maybe it's a developmental issue, like toilet training or sleep. Maybe you just received a diagnosis for your child, and you're feeling overwhelmed. Or maybe your parenting strategies just don't seem effective right now. Parent coaching is a fantastic place to start (and, to be honest, a lot faster and less expensive than putting your child in individual therapy). Let me partner with you to create the family life you want.
Coaching is available individually or in a group.

Is your child struggling with peer relationships or regulation? A group could help! In group therapy, we work together to learn through community and through relationships. Using structured activities and games, we focus on building empathy, executive functioning skills, regulation skills, and a sense of belonging. AND we have a lot of fun!

Individual Child Therapy
If your child has been in distress for awhile, and your usual strategies for soothing them aren't working, you may want to consider individual therapy. Amy is trained in Play Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectal Behavioral Therapy, traditional Psychotherapy, and DIR/Floortime Therapy techniques, and uses all of these strategies to understand your child and teach them new ways of coping.

Consultation for Professionals
Are you a pediatric therapist with a tough client? Are you a non-mental-health provider who is interested in learning some mental health concepts to enhance your work with children? Are you flummoxed by a client's behavior, and not sure what to do? I have a passion for helping professionals think about their clients in new ways, and would love to help you, too!
I work with individual providers, as well as partner with schools or agencies to provide training and consultation.
